Introduction from Challice

While I have never gotten the, “are they all yours?! Do you know what causes it?” question, I do get the eyes followed by the wordless head-count: one-two-three-four-five! And after that it’s, “You have your hands full.” I have learned to smile and nod and say something to the effect of, “I live a full life.”

I live around the corner from our other lovely author Rachel. Funny thing is, we’ve always lived around the corner from each other. She moved, and then I did. I think our friendship was meant to be. I learn a lot from her, and apparently some days she does from me too. We commiserate about dust, pollen, lack of green trees and rain, and heat. And maybe one day we will take that trip to the Bahamas to celebrate the successful raising of five-wild-and-rambunctious boys.

Motherhood gives me several hats and so some of the content I want to share with you are encouragement for the difficult days we face, tips for keeping on top of housework, meals for those weeks where you just need something quick and easy without breaking the bank, and much more. My heart is to gently lead families to love and serve one another in this crazy world and life we live.

So, come along and buckle your seat belts because it’s going to be a bumpy ride!
